Are the gemstones natural?
Our coloured gemstones are natural, every one of them, and each is selected and examined by our specialists before it is entrusted to the workshop. Our diamonds are offered in both origins, natural and laboratory-grown, and which you are viewing is stated on every product page.
May I have a piece made with a different stone?
Yes, and it is among the pleasures of ordering from us. Any design in the collection may be made with a natural diamond or with a laboratory-grown one, whichever you prefer, and in many cases with a coloured gemstone of your choosing. Tell us the piece and the stone you have in mind and we will return to you with a price and an expected date of delivery.
What about treatments and enhancements?
We disclose every treatment applied to a stone, and we accept only those the trade recognises as standard.
Ruby and sapphire — heat. Applied to refine colour and clarity. The large majority of rubies available today have been treated in this way.
Emerald — oil. Emeralds form with natural fissures. Cedarwood oil settles into them, improving clarity and lending the stone greater stability.
We work with no other treatment.
How will I know the quality of a stone?
Every stone is graded, and its carat weight, clarity, colour and full specification are set out on the product page and on the certificate that accompanies your piece.
Is the gold solid, or plated?
Solid, without exception. Your piece is made in 14K or 18K as you choose, in yellow, white or rose gold, and never plated. Each is hallmarked with its purity, so that its quality may be independently verified and appraised.
May I return a piece?
Yes. You have 7 days from delivery to return any piece for a full refund. Inform us with 7 days and ship within 7 days of approval. The piece should be unworn, in its original packaging, and accompanied by its certificate.
When will my order arrive?
Our pieces are held in stock and ready to send. Orders are dispatched within one to two working days and arrive anywhere in the United Arab Emirates within one to three working days thereafter. Delivery is complimentary on every order, fully insured until signed for, and requires a signature from an adult at the address. It comes to your door; there is nothing for you to collect. International orders take around 10-14 days for delivery.
Do you deliver outside the United Arab Emirates?
Yes! Should you wish to order from elsewhere, write to us and we will arrange it wherever we are able. Such deliveries travel fully insured and door to door, and any duties or taxes levied on arrival are the responsibility of the recipient.
How is my order packaged?
Your piece arrives in an Anayam London presentation box, ready for giving. The outer packaging is plain and unmarked, with nothing to indicate what lies inside.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
We do, as a courtesy. Note your wish in the personalisation field at checkout and we will prepare it for you.
May I commission a piece of my own?
We would be glad to. Tell us what you have in mind and our designers will consider both the design and the stone it calls for, then return to you with an estimate and an expected date of delivery.

Send it to us and we will respond with an estimate and a timeline for its making.
Do you supply wholesale?
We do. We extend trade pricing to our wholesale partners and remain highly competitive. Tell us your requirements and we will prepare our best offer.
May I see a piece before I buy?
Yes. We welcome you by private appointment, where pieces may be viewed and tried at your own pace, and our specialists can guide you through stone, setting and fit.
Are prices inclusive of VAT?
Yes. All prices are shown in UAE Dirhams and include VAT at 5%. A full VAT invoice accompanies every order.
Are laboratory-grown diamonds real diamonds?
Yes. A laboratory-grown diamond is chemically, physically and optically identical to a diamond formed within the earth. It is not a simulant such as cubic zirconia or moissanite; it is diamond, graded against the same standards and by the same laboratories. The single difference is origin: one is grown under controlled conditions, the other mined. We offer both, and price each accordingly.
How should I care for my jewellery?
For most pieces, warm water, a mild soap and a soft brush are all that is required; dry thoroughly afterwards with a soft cloth. Certain stones ask for more.
Emerald. Never place an emerald in an ultrasonic cleaner. The vibration disturbs the fissures and draws out the oil. Mild soap and water only.
Pearl. Keep pearls away from perfume, cosmetics and lotion, each of which erodes the nacre. They are best put on last, once all else is done.
Opal. Avoid sudden changes of temperature. Opal is a soft stone and may craze, a fine cracking of the surface that cannot be reversed.
Turquoise. Porous by nature, and it readily absorbs whatever it touches. We suggest removing the piece before household tasks.
Diamond and gold. Bleach and chlorinated water attack the alloys within gold and can, over time, weaken a setting; remove your jewellery before swimming or cleaning. Store pieces apart, as diamond will mark gold and softer stones if left loose beside them. Rings worn every day benefit from an occasional inspection of the claws, which we are happy to carry out for you.
